Seasonal portfolios rooted in light & place!
My five photographic portfolios—Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter and Street Art are shaped by the rhythm of the seasons and the quiet character of the places I walk. Each gallery reflects how light moves through the landscape, how stillness settles in, and how texture tells its own story. These aren’t just images, they’re moments I’ve paused for, often with Ruby by my side, and scenes that continue to speak long after the shutter clicks.
Spring always feels like a beginning. There’s a softness to the light, a sense of things unfolding. I’m drawn to hedgerows just starting to bloom, paths that feel newly discovered, and the hush that hangs in early morning mist. It’s a season of subtle colour and quiet optimism.
Summer stretches wide. The light is generous, the fields full of life, and familiar routes take on a golden glow. I try to capture both the energy and the stillness—sunlit textures, long shadows, and those moments where everything slows, just for a breath. There’s joy in the warmth, but also a kind of peace.
Autumn brings contrast and reflection. I find beauty in the shift—fallen leaves, rusted gates, and the amber light of late afternoons. It’s a season of texture and transition, where even the smallest detail feels rich with meaning.
Winter pares everything back. The landscape becomes quiet, restrained, and deeply still. Frosted branches, muted skies, and the hush of dusk invite a slower gaze. These scenes feel contemplative to me—solitude without loneliness, and the quiet resilience of nature at rest.
Street Art is my urban counterpoint. It’s bold, expressive, and full of character. I’m fascinated by how colour and story live on walls, tucked into alleys or stretched across concrete. Even here, I look for light and quiet—moments of pause within the energy.
Together, these portfolios reflect how I see the world: through light, through quiet, and through the character of places that stay with me.
